View Album: Jenny's Enid Blyton house, Green Hedges
My favourite photo, this is the window space in Enid's bedroom. I love the way the sunlight is casting shadows and atmosphere. This is nearly as good as Rosemary's photos!
Just a little history of the real Green Hedges, which was (yes was) an 8 bedroom house built in 1908. It was in Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire and was Enid's home from 1938 until she died in November 1968. It had a 2 and a half acre garden and was demolished in the early '70's.
