Giveaway Competition for Members
The prize for this giveaway competition is this set of German folk-style bedroom furniture, comprising a four poster bed, a wardrobe and a chest, all made of wood, painted dark green with red and white floral decoration. Perhaps you have a suitably rustic dolls house, or one set in a period when this style was fashionable - think 1970s long, frilly floral and embroidered dresses - or you may be inspired to redecorate them!
The measurements are: Wardrobe: H 14 cm x W 13.3 cm x D 4.8 cm. Bed: H 12.7 cm x L 12.8 cm x W 8.8 cm. Blanket box: H 4.4 cm x w 10.2 cm x D 5 cm.
If you would like to enter the competition and win this bedroom set, just look through the pages of this issue of the magazine, and find which article each of these images appears in. Each one is a small part or detail from a photo in one of the articles. When you have found all of them, send me the page number or the name of the article for each one (eg Photo A is on page ..., or Photo B is in the article ....).
This competition is only open to registered members of this website, Dolls Houses Past and Present.
For your chance to win, please send your answers via the website "Contact" Section or by email to:
Entry is open to all members, new and old, whether you've won before or not!
All correct entries will be entered into the draw and winners will be picked at random.
Entries must be received by the closing date of Sunday 17th May, 2020.
We're always happy to receive submissions at any time for our quarterly ezine (currently published in March, June, September and December each year).
Ideally, your submission will be in Word format, emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org as an attachment. If you do not have access to Word we're also happy to receive your article in the body of your email.
If your submission includes photos the placement of the photos should be indicated within the submission like this:
This is an article about dolls houses or miniatures and here is a lovely photo to illustrate my point:
<Photo 1: Name of your photo>
Caption, if you're using one.
And then the article continues like this...
Photos should be about 500kb, if possible. Most photo editing software has an option to resize photos, but I can do this if you're not sure how to. I prefer to receive photos at higher resolution and larger size, than too small - it is easier to reduce the size than enlarge it, and it enables me to zoom in to details. Please send your photos as attachments, not embedded in your submission. Please ensure the names of your photos match the names you have provided in the body of your submission.
