From the Editor
Welcome to the final issue of the Dolls Houses Past and Present magazine for 2011.
Thanks to all those who have contributed articles and photos, we again have a wide range of topics and eras. In this issue, two miniaturists share how they discovered vintage dolls house furnishings; we read about connections between dolls houses and interior design and architecture; and we see dolls houses and furnishings from 2011 to the 19th century (and even earlier). For this end of year issue, one member shares a dolls house which was made as a Christmas gift 80 years ago! Following on from last issue's theme of collecting on a budget, we also have DIY instructions for cribs, lamps, and dolls themselves. And, as usual, there's a give-away competition for members.
I hope you all find something to enjoy in this issue, and I wish you all seasons greetings for the festive season.
